Meet the Coach, Oliver "Olly" Owen.
Salford-Born. Globally-Built. Cincy-Driven.
Olly Owen’s journey starts in Salford, England, a city built on football and competition. Coming through elite youth systems across Manchester, he developed his game in one of the most demanding environments in the world — playing competitively at a high level through his youth and early career.
At 18, Olly made the move across the Atlantic, continuing his playing career at the collegiate level in the U.S., where he earned his degree Magna Cum Laude in just 3.5 years — balancing academics with a growing coaching career on the sidelines.
With nearly two decades of coaching experience across the UK, U.S., and Netherlands, Olly has worked with elite-level teams and players at every stage of development. His roles as a head coach, technical trainer, camp director, performance analyst, and scout have shaped a well-rounded, high-performance approach to player growth.
Alongside his coaching journey, Olly also built a career in marketing and advertising, working with major brands like NFL, Overtime, and Nike — sharpening a creative and professional edge that now shapes the OET experience off the field as well.
His coaching work in Amsterdam helped develop players advancing into the youth academies of the Eredivisie, the Netherlands’ top-flight professional league, reinforcing his commitment to real, tangible player development at the highest levels.
Now back in Cincinnati, Olly is focused on bringing a global standard to local talent. With certifications from both the FA and USSF, and a career built on competition, development, and professionalism, he’s here to give serious players the structure, tools, and mindset to move their game forward.
